ATLANTA – For the third year in a row, a panel of judges from the largest association of the exhibitions and events industry has awarded first place to the Cobb Galleria Centre in the Art of the Show competition. This is the sixth time in the last nine years that the Centre has received this honor from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

ATLANTA – The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). ATLANTA – Cobb Galleria Centre announces the launch of a new mobile web portal. The portal allows phone and iPad users to access key elements of the venue’s website, formatting the content for optimal display on handheld devices. Users can access floor plan views, dynamic feeds from the event calendar and Google Maps directions in real time as well as many other features. Solar Velocity, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Smyrna, Georgia, developed the mobile site.

Cobb Galleria Centre recently launched a new Web site, www.cobbgalleria.com. The newly redesigned, Web 2.0 site aims to extend the outreach of Cobb Galleria Centre by serving its clients, potential clients, exhibitors and event attendees. The new site features reorganized and expanded content, an interactive floor plan, virtual tours, interactive maps and online ordering for facility services (coming soon). The redesign incorporates stunning images and completely new navigational tools.
