“One flag, one land. One heart, one hand. One nation evermore”

June 14th marks the United States’ Flag Day anniversary, a celebration of the adoption of the U.S. flag in 1777. The flag as we know it today was first carried into battle on September 11, 1777 in the Battle of Brandywine, and the first known observance of the holiday was in Hartford, Connecticut in 1861. Flag Day became more popular in the late 1800s to celebrate American immigrants and the formation of new communities.

In commemoration of the holiday, Cobb Galleria Centre would like to honor the diverse team of staff members that keep the facility running. The Centre is esteemed to be the workplace of employees who have immigrated to the United States from countries around the globe!
