The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority

The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority owns and operates the Cobb Galleria Centre. The seven-member appointed Authority is a body corporate and politic created by the Georgia General Assembly in 1980 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing and maintaining facilities for the general purpose of promoting cultural growth, education and welfare.

Cobb Galleria Centre opened its doors in 1994. In 1999 the Authority acquired Galleria Specialty Shops adjacent to the convention center and in 2005 it launched its most recent development, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, which celebrated its grand opening in September 2007.
