Banquet Captain (Hourly)

Banquet Captains will supervise and direct the activities of Banquet Servers to ensure guest satisfaction at each Banquet function.  Banquet Captains will report to the Banquet Manager and Assistant Banquet Manager.

Banquet Event Coordinator (Salary)

This role will be the primary contact for event clients and is responsible for ensuring the logistics of events are run efficiently, meeting guests’ and Galleria standards. Responsible for preparing event spaces in advance. Assist with vendor space access, ensures vendor safety and insurance requirements are met. Supports food & beverage service, provides attendee services such as greeting and proving wayfinding, and assists with event wrap up activities such as billing and equipment distribution. Supports meeting planning activities such as scheduling, providing room set configuration options, audio visual or décor options, preparing and updating event orders. Reviews and updates food and beverage orders on Event Order Confirmations.

Banquet Server (Hourly)

Banquet servers serve meals to guests at catered functions, including breaks, receptions, and meals.  The tasks assigned to Banquet Servers will be directed by the Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager and Banquet Captains.

Building Engineer/Maintenance Technician (Hourly)

Engineers shall be responsible for: 1) operation and maintenance of the physical plant: 2) routine maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, utility and building systems: 3) regular adherence to preventive maintenance programs and required tasks: 4) installation and troubleshooting of utility services for events.  Responsible for ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with applicable fire, safety and building codes and standards of operation.  Large convention show experience helpful.

Cook/Pastry Cook (Hourly)

Responsible for preparing and maintaining high quality standards for all food prepared for customers.  Reports to the Lead Cook, Sous Chef, Executive Chef.

Director of Event Services (Salary)

The Event Services Director will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the day to day activities of the Event Services Department to include pricing compliance, planning and organizing activities for all Cobb Galleria Centre Events and the supervision and scheduling of department personnel. The Event Services Director will ensure proper inter-departmental communication and coordination of event related activities.  Position reports to the Assistant General Manager.

Public Safety Officer(Hourly)

Public Safety Officers will be responsible for the safety and security of company property, assets, guests and employees. Officers will work in a law enforcement position and/or a traffic position on the Authority campus. Officers will work in conjunction with and report directly to Public Safety Managers and the Director of Safety and Security.

Public Safety Supervisor (Hourly)

The Public Safety Supervisor will supervise daily activities and conduct training for all public safety officers, including responsibilities to protect staff, guests and all assets.  The Public Safety Supervisor will complete duties accordingly and report directly to the Public Safety Manager.
