ArtsBridge Foundation
ArtsBridge Foundation serves as the educational outreach arm of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The Foundation provides high-quality arts education to Georgia's Pre-K to 12th grade students. With a mission "to enrich the lives of Georgia Pre-K to 12th grade students through transformative arts education experiences" and a vision that "all Georgia students and educators have access and exposure to the arts," the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization secures financial resources to support extensive community engagement and educational programs that inspire creativity; supplement classroom curriculum; and cultivate the next generation of artists, art supporters, leaders, and innovators.
Since its inception in 2007, ArtsBridge has served over 425,000 students and educators from 73 Georgia counties, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. ArtsBridge programs include field trips to the Cobb Energy Centre for performances by leading local, and international arts organizations, the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards that celebrates excellence in high school theatre throughout the state, and tech theatre workshops called Theatre: Inside-n-Out, that expose students and educators to performing arts behind the scenes.
