AWA, or Anime Weekend Atlanta, is a 4 day convention that takes place at Cobb Galleria Centre and the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.  It happens each year close to Halloween and is a celebration of Japanese culture, anime (animation), and manga (comics).

The event runs 24 hours a day starting Thursday afternoon and ending Sunday evening.
