Staff Member Spotlight: Jacquline Dixon
Facility Services Coordinator Jacquline Dixon is a familiar face to many of our exhibitors, assisting them with all of their needs before, during and after they exhibit at a Cobb Galleria Centre show. In addition to her top-notch customer service skills, Dixon also has another talent – she’s a licensed cosmetologist.
As Facility Services Coordinator, Dixon serves in an administrative capacity for all operations departments, including exhibitor services. She processes all exhibitor utility orders, serves as a customer service point of contact, and is many times the first on-site contact for clients and exhibitors during move-in to exhibit hall events.
A three-year veteran of the organization, Dixon originally started as a public safety officer prior to her promotion. “This is my first office job, “she said.
Dixon’s professional background is diverse. She is a graduate of Fayette Beauty Academy and has held previous jobs as an assistant manager at a beauty supply store and as a security officer at the Atlanta Water System. She still maintains her cosmetology license and moonlights as a travel hairstylist.
Dixon said her favorite Cobb Galleria Centre events are the Atlanta Shoe Market and Pinners Conference. “I love how our building can transform into literally anything and everything, and I enjoy being a part of that transformation from start to finish,” she said.
Originally from Clarksville, Tenn., Dixon is a self-described Army brat who has lived in many places but has called south Atlanta home since the fifth grade. She credits her work ethic to her mother and her grandfather.
