COBB-MARIETTA COLISEUM & EXHIBIT HALL AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES PROMOTION AND NEW HIRE
ATLANTA – The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority is pleased to announce the promotion of Artimesa Evans to the position of Director of Safety & Security and the hiring of Dale Gustafson as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Cobb Galleria Centre, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and Galleria Specialty Shops.
In her new role, Evans will be responsible for overseeing public safety and security throughout the Authority campus. Evans originally joined the Cobb Galleria Centre in 2012 and had roles ranging from Public Safety Supervisor to Manager. She took a five-year hiatus and returned to the organization in 2022, again as Public Safety Manager. Evans previously served as the Assistant Public Safety Manager for the former Georgia Dome under the Georgia World Congress Center Authority Police Department and the NFL. She also has served as a Quality Assurance Trainer for the State Road & Tollway Authority where she trained employees and assisted with training inmates for the Georgia Department of Corrections.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Gustafson will provide strategic leadership and execution of the company’s sales and marketing efforts. Gustafson was raised in the Atlanta area and graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Hospitality Administration. He has 35 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, selling for various hotel brands including Hilton, Omni, Marriott, IHG and the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. Twenty-five of those years were spent in leadership roles as a Director of Sales and Marketing. Gustafson returns to the Galleria market, where he spent five years as Director of 
Sales and Marketing at the Embassy Suites Galleria in the early 2010s.
