ATLANTA – The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority is pleased to announce the hiring of Elise Rankins to the position of Director of Event Services. Rankins has 15 years of experience in event management. She is responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Event Services Department and ensuring proper inter-departmental communication and coordination of event-related activities at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

“Elise’s background with a wide variety of types of events fits well with the diverse variety of events that we host at the Cobb Galleria Centre,” said Michele Swann, General Manager & CEO of the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority. “We look forward to her elevating the event experience for our clients and their guests.”

Rankins holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Johnson C. Smith University and a Master’s Degree in Sports Leadership from Duquesne University. She has worked in event management for the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, Old Dominion University and the Hampton Roads Convention Center. Most recently, she was the Director of Events at Overtime. Rankins lives in midtown Atlanta and is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
