Employee Spotlight: Sharmah Wardlaw

Sharmah Wardlaw, Administrative Receptionist, has been a dedicated employee at the Cobb Galleria Centre for 14 years and counting. Besides greeting clients and guests as they arrive, Sharmah has to be familiar with all events that take place at both the Galleria Centre as well as the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. When customers call to inquire about an event, Sharmah is the staff member who must be knowledgeable enough to answer their questions.

Prior to joining the Cobb Galleria Centre, Sharmah had an extensive background in the hospitality industry. She worked for Marriott in San Francisco for 11 years as part of their hospitality team before moving to South Carolina and then to Georgia.

Sharmah loves being a part of the Cobb Galleria Centre family. She says the best part of working here is interacting with her fellow employees and meeting new clients. “Every day is different, and every day feels like the first day,” she said.

Sharmah lives in Lithonia with her sister and her 16-year-old daughter, Tirzahn. When not at work, Sharmah is interested in all things entertainment, including the arts, music and acting.
