Dinner for Divas is a national movement honoring remarkable women and young girls (age 13+) who have been victims of domestic violence and are transitioning from battered women’s and children’s shelters. Created by Alma G. Davis, Founder & CEO of AIM for Youth, the event honors a minimum of 150 survivors in each city in which the gala is hosted. The project intends to raise awareness of domestic violence, support abused women and girls as they embark on the road to recovery, and the event is also an affluent fundraiser for local shelters.

“It is our desire to ensure that women and young girls break the vicious cycle of domestic violence that is constantly on the rise,” says founder Davis. Saturday, June 25, the ladies will be transformed in a “diva makeover” during the day at Cobb Galleria Centre, and the gala celebration will start at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre at 7:00 p.m. Attend this elegant evening and celebrate the brave victories of these amazing women!
