HomeShow

Even when the housing market and the economy declined several years ago, the Atlanta Home Show remained strong. For the past six years, the Cobb Galleria Centre has had the honor of hosting the Spring Atlanta Home Show, and the 2015 edition was the largest ever produced.

This three-day show provides a unique experience for homeowners to learn and speak with vendors and professionals in home repair, renovation and design. Attendees have the opportunity shop for all home renovation needs in one place from more than 350 exhibitors.

Over the past few years, the Atlanta Home Show has grown exponentially. This year the Spring show, held March 20-22, welcomed between 20,000 and 25,000 visitors.

The event gives homeowners a chance to invest wisely and enjoy the renovations, says Michael Schoppenhorst, the show director. “Attendees enjoy being able to learn from experts in home renovation and being able to listen to well-known speakers such as Joe Washington from HGTV’s “Ground Breakers.”

Schoppenhorst says that he loves producing events at the Cobb Galleria Centre. “The staff knows our events, and we feel that we have developed an important relationship with everyone in all positions,” says Schoppenhorst. “Kyle Smith, our event manager, does a fantastic job. He is like an extension of our team.” Along with the great service received from the staff, Schoppenhorst also says that the free parking and central location of the Centre make it a perfect host for their events.

The Atlanta Home Show is held twice a year at the Cobb Galleria Centre, in the fall and spring. The Centre has hosted the Fall show since the venue opened in 1994. To learn more about this event, visit atlantahomeshow.com.
