“Worlds Greatest Square Dance Event”! Since 1952, this event brings dancers from all over the world to dance together for four days just for fun, many making it a vacation destination and seeing the city. There will be education, seminars and workshops. All phases of dancing (squares, lines, rounds, contra), as well as exhibitions, a fashion show, special events and shopping at the vendors. The event is held every year in a different city in the USA. This will be the first time Georgia has hosted the National Square Dance Convention (R). There will be opportunities for non-dancers to explore the convention and take beginner lessons.
