Stewarding Manager Enrique Hernandez handles a variety of responsibilities in the kitchens at Cobb Galleria Centre and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, but by far he is most passionate about keeping the kitchens at the highest standard of cleanliness and organization.

“We’re going to be the best at whatever we do,” Hernandez said, adding that he and his team don’t leave work until everything is clean and put in its place.

Hernandez also works with Culinary Director & Executive Chef Nicholas Walker on budgeting, inventory, scheduling, hiring and training employees, and creating an efficient and clean kitchen environment.

In his 5th year, Hernandez said it was one of his dreams to work at the Cobb Galleria Centre, following more than 25 years working in stewarding at various hotels in Atlanta and other cities. “I really enjoy being here,” he said.

Hernandez, originally from Mexico City, says that in his spare time he enjoys watching soccer, building furniture and jogging at Kennesaw Mountain. He and his wife live in Marietta. They have two children, a daughter who attends the University of Georgia and a son who is in school at Kennesaw State University.
