Our Culinary Director and Executive Chef Nicholas Walker debuted three different recipes recently to spice up the traditional snack of nuts. They are great for all events!

BBQ Peanuts

(Ingredients)

1.5-2 lbs Raw Peanuts

1 tbsp. Ground Coriander

1 tbsp. Ground Cumin

1 tbsp. Smoked Paprika

1 tbsp. Chili Powder

1/4 tea. Cayenne Pepper

1/2 tbsp. Salt

1/2 tbsp. Black Pepper

1 tbsp. Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Favorite BBQ Sauce

(Instructions)

Roast the raw peanuts for 20 minutes in 350-degree oven. Set aside and cool. Toss peanuts in spices and BBQ sauce, then return to oven. Roast at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Let rest and cool before serving.

Brown Sugar and Rosemary Mixed Nuts

(Ingredients)

1.5-2 lbs Favorite Mixed Nuts

1/2 pound butter, melted

1 Sprig Chopped Rosemary

1 cup Brown Sugar

(Instructions)

Infuse butter with rosemary, whisk in brown sugar. Pour over the nuts and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.

Sesame and Chili Cashews

(Ingredients)

1.5-2 lbs. Cashews

2 tbsp. Toasted Sesame Oil

1 tbsp. Honey

1/4 cup Good Soy Sauce

1 tbsp. Sriracha

1 tbsp. Black and White Sesame Seeds

1/2 tbsp. Salt

(Instructions)

Combine all ingredients. Pour over cashews and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
