Tucker Chili Cookoff

We are thrilled to announce that Chefs Walker and Panter have won the People’s Choice Award for their recipe, “The Drunken Master!” The chefs participated in the 2019 Tucker Chili Cookoff on Saturday, March 9, . Previously winning 1st place in the 2018 cookoff, the stakes were high this year. In addition to eating great chili, this event was an opportunity for attendees to see the recently renovated downtown Tucker area as well as raise money for Day League.

Day League provides direct services, prevention education, and advocacy for youth and adult survivors of sexual assault, their families and the community as a whole.

“The Drunken Master” is an alcohol infused chili with Buffalo Trace, Grand Marnier, and Yuengling as well as jalapenos for a spicy addition.

Leading up to the event, we were lucky enough to catch the chefs in the kitchen as “The Drunken Master” was being prepped. The people chose a delicious chili!
