Thursday, August 13: The Atlanta Board of Realtors presents the Showcase Residential Real Estate Trade Show, the Southeast’s premier premier residential real estate show that brings together realtors, real estate professionals, and affiliated industries all on a single day. The show features a broad selection of industry seminars from national and regional speakers, industry items, services, and business tools. This year’s trade show will also highlight technology in the real estate industry, from prospecting market data to creative business strategies and using technology on the fly. The even lasts from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM, and $10 Early Bird tickets benefiting Habitat for Humanity can be purchased here.

Thursday, August 13: Safe Path Children’s Advocacy Center hosts their annual Good Eatin’ Great Cause culinary tour and competition Thursday from 6:00-10:00 PM. Presented by Balfour Beatty Construction, the evening event will feature over 30 of Georgia’s favorite chefs serving their signature dishes, tapas style. In addition to food and music, there will also be a cooking competition between Cobb County Police Chiefs, Cobb County District Attorney’s Office, Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marietta Fire Department.
