Saturday, February 21: Welcome back to the The Georgia Chess Association for their Metro-Atlanta K-8 Team State Qualifier! More than 1,000 youth will be here for a five-round, unrated, individually paired Swiss System tournament with a time control of 25 minutes per player.

Sunday, February 22: The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta will celebrate the 2015 combined Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion at 2:00 PM. The doors will open at 1:00 PM. Attendance at the Rite is open to all without charge.

Sunday, February 22: The Red Carpet Gala Benefiting the Center for Family Resources -Let’s celebrate The Oscars®! The Red Carpet Gala hosts more than 600 guests representing the corporate and philanthropic leaders of Cobb County and the Metro Atlanta area. The guests arrive on the red carpet runway, enjoy a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, a ballroom dinner and the telecast of the 2015 Academy Awards®.
