Thursday, Feb. 2: Transitioning military, veterans, and their spouses can meet with recruiters from dozens of companies at the RecruitMilitary Atlanta Job Fair. Held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, the job fair is free for attendees. More than 60 companies will be on-hand to recruit.

Saturday, Feb. 4: The 13th Annual Black College Expo is back! The expo will be from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and the Scholarship Step Show is from 3-5 p.m. Black College Expo features a very informative and exciting college fair, known as an “Infotainment” college fair, showcasing well over 50 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and educational organizations and programs. Saturday, Feb. 4: Welcome back to the Georgia Chess Association’s 2017 Metro Atlanta K-8 Team State Qualifier. The event is open to all elementary and middle school students within the Metro Atlanta area. This is a four round, unrated, individually paired Swiss System tournament with a time control of 25 minutes per player with a five second time delay.
