Culinary Director & Executive Chef Nicholas Walker was one of the chefs asked to participate in the tasting tents at the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, held Sept. 11 and 12. Launched in 2010, the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival spotlights the rich food and beverage traditions of the South, from Texas to the District of Columbia. This year, Atlanta Food & Wine Festival returned to Historic Fourth Ward Park.

Chef Walker’s dish was a Roasted Heirloom Carrot Salad with smoked goat cheese, Benton’s bacon and miso honey vinaigrette.

The festival’s highly anticipated Tasting Tents also featured wine pop-up stations, a cocktail garden, live music and an interactive food and beverage pairing area. Culinary demos featured a mix of visiting Southern and local Atlanta culinary personalities who educated and entertained guests during the two days.
