The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-Atlanta) brings back its annual professional development conference for human resources professionals, SOAHR 2021 | Community Atlanta, Sept. 27-29. The conference has been held annually at the Cobb Galleria Centre since 2006.

“The wonderful staff at the Cobb Galleria Centre is one of my favorite reasons (we hold the conference there), not to mention the ample space and the flexibility to use it in ways that make our conference easy to navigate from the time attendees step through the door,” said Joanne Singletary, director of marketing and engagement for SHRM-Atlanta.

Approximately 700 HR professionals will gather in person and virtually to celebrate the Atlanta HR community, connect with peers, learn from HR industry experts across more than 20 sessions, and discover the latest innovations from 100+ partners.

Singletary said that SHRM has made some adjustments to account for COVID considerations, including allowing for more social distancing and creating an on-demand library of content for attendees. Additionally, Singletary said that those who attend in person will be able to reconnect with colleagues and friends they may not have seen face-to-face for more than a year. “We want to nurture the feeling of community attendees look forward to and that we’ve all missed in the last year.”
