Upcoming Event: Party Under The Bridge

The public is invited to join the Cumberland Community Improvement District for a community block party under the Interstate 285 bridge at Powers Ferry Road to celebrate the grand opening of the Akers Mill Trail East from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30.

This new segment of multi-use trail connects National Park Service’s Cochran Shoals trailhead to more than 20 miles of trail network in the area.  The event will feature one of Marietta Chalktoberfest’s artists doing a live chalk art installation, a DJ, food trucks, and more! The first 300 attendees to arrive will receive a voucher for a complimentary food item from one of the event vendors.
