Monday, December 9, 2019: This month, Acworth’s Mayor Tommy Allegood kicks off the giving season as the keynote speaker at Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s December First Monday Breakfast. He will be discussing the importance of giving back to the community. Attendees will also hear how Cobb Community Foundation helps magnify your impact as well as see a sneak peak of the results of an independent study of Cobb’s human services needs and the resources meeting those needs.

The program also includes the official launch of the Chamber’s new brand. Attendees will get to see the new logo and messaging, plus participate in a fun brand activation. The December breakfast marks the last First Monday Breakfast at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

Friday, December 13, 2019: Join more than 1,500 of the Atlanta Area’s top business and community leaders as they celebrate Scouting’s success in 2019, and pledge to support its future. This year’s luncheon, chaired by Carol Yancey, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Genuine Parts Company, will feature a keynote address by Ed Bastian, Chief Executive Officer of Delta Air Lines. The Golden Eagle Luncheon is named in honor of the donors at the $1,000 level and above.
