Monday, December 3, 2018: Join the Cobb Chamber of Commerce for the First Monday Breakfast. Community involvement is important at all levels, whether you are spending an hour volunteering or dedicating your life to civil service. Earlier this year, Harold Melton was named the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, building on his career of service. Join us as Chief Justice Harold D. Melton, former executive counsel to Governor Purdue, shares his personal leadership journey and how community involvement spurs positive change all around us.  At this breakfast, attendees will also learn how the Cobb Community Foundation is making an impact. Also, the Health Hero Award, presented by Cobb & Douglas Public Health will be awarded.

Friday, December 7, 2018: Atlanta’s top business and community leaders will come together to celebrate the success of Scouting and pledge to support its future. Th 2018 Golden Eagle Luncheon, presented by the Atlanta Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, features a keynote address by Dan Cathy, Chief Executive Officer of Chick-Fil-A, Inc. The Golden Eagle Luncheon is the kick-off fundraising event for the 2019 Friends of Scouting Campaign.
